Initiatives
What to do? How do you increase biodiversity in the city?
In the cities, the same biodiversity "rules" apply as in the rest of the nature. Thus, if you want to increase biodiversity, you have to create a varied nature and give the nature time to grow and find its own way.
However, depending on which city nature type you are focusing on or which plant and animal species you want to help, there are different initiatives, which will be beneficial. Some initiatives will generally help increase biodiversity, while others are specifically aimed at individual species or groups.
In this section, you can read about the projects aimed at furthering biodiversity, which Rethink Urban Habitats takes part in.
This page will continuously be updated as new knowledge, projects and experiences emerge.
